The kitchen sports an electric hob, fan oven and Microwave. A modern automatic washing machine and separate tumble dryer are available in the utility room.

Heating is by storage heater with panel heaters in the bedrooms. Access to the bed rooms is off the main hall.

West Turret boasts three bedrooms: the master is a double and has an en-suite shower and WC; the second is a twin room. The third contains a bunk bed. There is a cot available also.

Access to the flat is via a spiral staircase in the turret.

An information folder is provided containing all you need to know about the running of the flat during your stay as well as local amenities, restaurants, sports facilities and churches.
Dunira is central to the highlands being 26 miles north of Stirling and 25 miles west of Perth. Edinburgh is an hour and a half by car and Glasgow an hour. Fort William is two hours away.

West Turret has been sympathetically modernised to provide very comfortable and cosy accommodation with all the modern amenities whilst retaining all of its original charm.

The loung diner is spaceous and affords views of the mountains through the south facing window. The dining table will seat up to six. A highchair is available.

Television, video, radio and CD player are all provided.

The History of West Turret
The estate dates back to 1740 when it was purchased by Henry Dundas, later Viscount Melville. The buildings of the estate were refirbished in 1919 as a plaque over the door of West Turret testifies but the main house was destroyed by fire
The remains of it and the once splendid gardens are still visible. The garages with the chauffeur's lodgings above and the stables opposite are what have now been converted to form The Square of which West Turret is part.
